We're kicking off the 2023 release calendar with a pair of breakbeat re-workings of Mr. Big Mouth's mid-tempo roller What The Funk. Up first is Hexadecimal who introduces a mid-range galloping synth component to build upon the healthy dose of horns he has drawn from the original track. Add in some well tuned shuffling drums and percussion alongside the original What The Funk vocal and you've got a funk-fueled dancefloor bomb on your hands. Sergei Orange checks in on the second remix with an ethereal and atmospheric vibe while adding a soulful touch with a new R and B female vocal element. A steady sub bassline will keep the speakers rattling as Sergei Orange's palette of synth effects put the finishing touches on his spaced-out trip.
