I enjoy making mashups with different styles of music.

Tear out Breaks & Classical
Tear out Breaks & 80's retro
Tear out Breaks & pop

etc etc etc

What I was wondering is what USB midi controller would you recommend that enables you to have very finely tuned pitch control to .01 like a cdj800/1000?

In addition, in the studio would you recommend Ableton or Fruitly loops to do the simple task of beat matching two completely different stylez of music as alluded to above?

with Virtual DJ for mixing software. I know you can do pitch control up to .01 in VDJ if you want. I don't like while mixing live though.

Ableton is great for just doing straight up digital mixes. I havne't used the nw versions of Fruity Loops yet so i can't speak for it.
