BeatNik is a 21 year old Psytrance music producer and DJ, who, despite his young age, has already been producing electronic music for over a decade. His sound is a combination of many elements: From funky, cheeky electro edged grooves, via full-on darker sounds and structures, to filmic, epic soundscapes. All this is combined with his highly energetic live set which has travelled as far Brazil, stopping off around Europe on the way, and of course featuring regularly on the English trance circuit.

For his second single on Downbeat, we see Flashback stepping into the realms of Future Jungle with vocalist, Dennean. The two tracks, 'New Wave' & 'Hear Lies' both rollout a full-on 140 junglistic workout, complete with super crisp slamming beats, tearing basslines, sweeping synths and emotive vocals.

This is the first release of 2012 by the hugely talented and forward thinking studio wizard, The Flashback Project… But rest assured, it will not be the last…

Nice beats in the Vida and Kid Panel mix too, got a nice housey feel to this, top remix!!! Tougher edge to the Inzert mix also good and Darker twist on the Insom and Oze mix.
Great overall package good contrast between the light funky ones and the tougher breaks mix's.
Vida and Kid Panel the one for me though, top tune!!!
