Roll up, Ladies and Gents, because Diesel Recordings release no.314 is here and its a particularly sinful offering! 7 is a compilation of some of Diesel's resident talent here to flex their beats and basslines for your listening pleasure! First up; Alt-A steps up with 'Pride'; a solid, uplifting breakbeat number with tight drums, arpeggiated synth lines and a smooth vocal. Next is Lo Definition with a dark slammer called 'Greed'. A deep, gritty chunker with classic breaks cuts, wobs and low end filth! Jim Reaper is to follow with his offering titled 'Envy'; a lush, intricately-crafted piece chocked full of live guitar riffs, pads, atmospheric vocals and groove. Electrom then slaps us with 'Lust'; a deeper groove with solid drums, reese lines, harmonic overtones and squealing leads. Then follows the dynamic duo that is Journeyman & BARRcode with their squelchy-acid tech slammer called 'Wrath'. This one is a heads-down, driven, acid-tech-breaks slammer that will leave you cowering in the basement corner! Next up is Prato and his elastic-breaks tune 'Gluttony'. Prato's signature arp magic shines through along with some snappy drums and rather cheeky vocal cuts! And last, but by no means least, is Perpetual Present and 'Sloth'; a slamming, tech-breaks number with all the usual soundscapes, dark vibes and driving grooves that only Mr Present could provide.
